I can only speak for myself but I feel the M brand is being very diluted with this announcement. I do have tremendous respect for the "true" M cars though.

Did the (supposed) steering failure cause the captain to abandon ship like the coward that he is???

"...made it clear why you treat a car like this with some respect."

Your fun fact = False. I called back to back 4 times until I got someone to handle the request outlined in this article. And the majority of people that posted on Slickdeals that got this to work called numerous times.

What good are these "super" fast speeds when we have relatively low bandwidth caps. I've seen some reports of up to 60mbps with AT&T's LTE network. With that speed, one could theoretically go through a 2GB/month limit in as little as 4.5 hours (yes, I know this isn't real world scenario).

As others have stated, where's Apple products on this list?

If CIQ is really obtaining the logged data, it may well be sent on a daily or weekly basis. And since text files are relatively insignificant in filesize, I don't see that sending these log files would have any effect on battery life or data usage. I'm anxious to hear the "truth" and follow the backlash.

I do pretty much the same thing. For songs I don't want in the playlist I mainly listen to, I mark them with no stars. Then the songs I want in this playlist, I mark with 1-5 starts appropriately. This way I can easily make separate playlists for my favorite songs (more stars).

To combat this, I'll just use a single digit for my PIN so the perp won't know the order of digits...oh wait...

I'm not sure who's actually driving but there is a post on Axis of Oversteer about this car. The article seems to hint that the poster of that site is the driver.

@pauljones: MT's explanation only came with probing (or very "convenient" timing). MT, IMHO, is highly reputable and should've had the understanding that the data they posted should have initially been met with clarification. Would they not have questioned "incomplete" data provided by a competing publication?

There's no doubt that YMMV, we get that. The deception comes when "non-typical" MPG numbers are stated without an explanation of how that number was achieved for this "unique" vehicle. We all know what MPG means for a "normal" gas-powered car, but when it comes to the Volt, the MPG numbers can be gamed to whatever

This same thing happens when F1 cars are racing in humid conditions. A stream can be seen coming off of the rear spoiler in high speeds. Can't find any pictures of it though, but really cool looking though.

Is this contest still going on?
