IMHO it’s pretty wild to assume that Tesla’s, or even EVs in general, are bought by MAGA folks. I’d argue that those generally on the far-right are anti-EV.

At least the +/- are facing the correct directions on the manu-matic thingamajig.

Keep in mind that the monthly credit stops once the phone is paid off, meaning that VZ intends for you to take the full 2 years to pay off the phone to fully benefit from this promo. If you pay it off early, you forfeit the monthly bill credits going forward.

Serious question...how is it verified that these “sealed” items have the actual item in the box? I imagine that it’s not too difficult to shrink wrap a box to pass off as original.

My Amazon preorder for the Oculus Rift, which was scheduled for release date delivery, showed Preparing For Shipment even on the morning it was supposed to be delivered. Turns out it did ship out from a nearby warehouse and was actually delivered on time that day.

Anyone know why these European car videos, such as EVO, Drive and Top Gear, have been using Miles Per Hour lately? Shouldn't they be using KPH.

This. I saw an F12 being put out for display in front of a hotel in Seattle by a dealership and really wanted to say "Ferrari has lost its way" aloud in front of the dealership workers.

Is the odometer measuring the rear wheel "travel"? If so, I'd wonder how many miles this drift put on the odometer since the rear tires are spinning multiple times the actual road distance equivalent.

I appears to me that the headlights assembly is surrounded by a large "halo" light.

I think Porsche uses yellow calipers to signify carbon ceramic brakes.

Backup services like CrashPlan should give you what you need. For $50/year you have unlimited storage to backup whatever you need/want. And the data is even readily available to download, with very fast transfer rates.

I think it depends on how the backups are stored on the Time Machine. I use Windows Home Server and the client backups are mainly large images, which definitely defeats the purpose of small incremental backups since the entire images would be uploaded to Crashplan. I'd imagine Time Machine backup files are similar.

I use the Chase Freedom also and it's a great card overall. Just sucks that the 5% back on gas isn't constant, although some may benefit more with the various other rotating 5% categories.

Video, from The Verge, that demonstrates the different user interaction differences between a keyboard and touch.

What the hell are you talking about? This article is in regards to what's working or not with the Macbook Air hardware, specifically. This functionality is present with appropriate PC drivers on "supported" hardware. Read the article next time, or at least make a post relevant to the topic at hand.

In anticipation of the iPad 3, I sold my personal white iPad 2 16GB Wifi on Craigslist two weeks ago for $430, which was in brand new condition even after 11 months. Estimated that I could have gotten about $450 for it on eBay but would have come out with less after the ridiculous eBay and PayPal fees.

Several years ago I saw this Brabus ML in the link below that you may not think is better but definitely unique. The interior carbon fiber has very wide layers, which I'm surprised I haven't seen on anything else.

I guess everything is in the eye of the beholder since I know many do like the sleeper look. I personally want the sporty versions to look more sporty. I'd still hit it, though. :)

IMHO, speaking only to the exterior, Audi needs to differentiate the S/RS versions of the A4 line more. The B7 RS4 was perfectly aggressive but the S4 was very subdued.

I can only speak for myself but I feel the M brand is being very diluted with this announcement. I do have tremendous respect for the "true" M cars though.
