IMHO it’s pretty wild to assume that Tesla’s, or even EVs in general, are bought by MAGA folks. I’d argue that those generally on the far-right are anti-EV.

At least the +/- are facing the correct directions on the manu-matic thingamajig.

Keep in mind that the monthly credit stops once the phone is paid off, meaning that VZ intends for you to take the full 2 years to pay off the phone to fully benefit from this promo. If you pay it off early, you forfeit the monthly bill credits going forward.

Serious question...how is it verified that these “sealed” items have the actual item in the box? I imagine that it’s not too difficult to shrink wrap a box to pass off as original.

But what about when you’re browsing the web, or similar material, in landscape on these super tall displays? When you’re holding the phone in landscape, you’re seeing less vertical at a time on the page since the ratio of the height (in landscape) is lower. Can’t fix that by zooming into the page either.

My Amazon preorder for the Oculus Rift, which was scheduled for release date delivery, showed Preparing For Shipment even on the morning it was supposed to be delivered. Turns out it did ship out from a nearby warehouse and was actually delivered on time that day.

Add me to the list of having issues with bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone 7. I have a 2012 Audi Q5 with 3rd-party BT adapter that plugs into the proprietary Audi Multimedia Interface plug (since factory BT connection doesn’t do A2DP). Had zero issues with playing music with my iPhone 6S and have been having

If you were to create your own technology-oriented website, which brand would get you the most coverage/traffic? In my opinion, Apple is one of the top, at this moment, so I would choose to cover them more than other brands, especially when they come out with a new market-leading product.

Would you venture to say the same things about the more obvious Apple-shills such as John Gruber?

That place is near me. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the restaurant a while back.

Anyone else get the sense that Apple is playing the long game by keeping the 16GB around to, in a way, force us to pay the extra $100 to go with the non-base model? The industry would be in an uproar if Apple were to raise the price of their iPhones. So instead of them changing the prices, they just keep the 16GB

With Google Maps you still need a data connection to use turn-by-turn navigation, even though you can save offline maps (at least the iOS app).

I don't drink coffee at all, am in fantastic health and NEVER get sick, either. What does that mean for me?

"Still, some functionality is still missing from Canon's CameraWindow app. For example, I can view the roll of photos that are stored on the camera from the phone, but I can only send them from the camera."

The 8.0.x Recently Added folder had only the last 30 days, or so, of photos. 8.1's Camera Roll shows ALL photos taken from the iPhone camera and even saved from the web. Oh and the previous Photo Stream folder is back also in 8.1.

This is not just a relabeled Recently Added folder from my experience with 8.1 beta

Anyone know why these European car videos, such as EVO, Drive and Top Gear, have been using Miles Per Hour lately? Shouldn't they be using KPH.

This. I saw an F12 being put out for display in front of a hotel in Seattle by a dealership and really wanted to say "Ferrari has lost its way" aloud in front of the dealership workers.

That just leads to the same "looks like we do not currently support your phone model" message that someone else took a screenshot of...
