I don’t get why people are treating this pick like its more likely than not to land a “star.” Calling the NBA draft a crapshoot is being generous at best, there’s at least a 50/50 chance that pick falls out of the top three, and I just think that the pick turning into someone better than Kyrie is pretty unlikely

Of course it will be a lottery pick, but by all accounts next years draft is very top heavy, and that pick could very easily fall out of the top 3 or 4. I think there is a marked difference is having the keys of an offense that basically has no structure to a system like what Steven’s uses.

I think holding Kyrie’s first three years against him is ludicrous, Cleveland’s roster was hot burning garbage and Mike Brown was the coach so...I’ll grant you that his performace on the court without LeBron is a flag, but I think he’s getting a massive coaching upgrade that could help mitigate that.
