Ha your username is similar to that of the person in the photo of the 200 series LandCruiser. And the other two photos are from my neck of the woods as well.

Hmm I recognize these. Markuson?
Well from the first picture I thought “cute Jeep Renegade” but then I saw the front bench seat in the 4 door version and the pricing of the 2 door and... I am actually considering it. Obviously need to see one in person, drive it, and most importantly see how it babies but yeah I’m intrigued. I already have a Toyota…
I hear you there. I thought things like cars and houses were expensive... then I had children.
Sure, there is a cost to accessing centralized data, but decentralizing it also comes with a price. One of the primary reasons this is happening is access is generally much cheaper from both a fiscal perspective as well as a resources and energy consumption perspective than decentralized storage/compute.
I have a Bissel Garage Pro mounted on my wall in my garage right in front of/between my DD and my wife’s DD. I’ve had it for years and found it to be extremely handy having a shop vac that’s right there ready to go without wheeling it out fumbling with the hose and power cord etc. I found I would clean out my cars…

Nice demonstration video! We love our LX570 and have considered a GX to replace our 4Runner, also considered buying a second LX.
This article really hit home. Recently the wife was given a loaner Cadillac and I had a similar experience. Merging into traffic at 80MPH when another motorist merges into the same lane ahead from the opposite direction. A little snug but not like they cut me off in a dangerous fashion. The car decides the thing to do…
It’s not unsupported, there is webbing that is secured on the front end and the rear, when the tent portion is fully open the webbing is pulled tight across the internal frame of the tent. This is how nearly all folding roof top tents are designed and these straps bear the weight of the cantilevered portion. (on a…
It’s a cool idea and I have seen a couple on the trails over the years but I think it could create as many problems as it solves.
The livery is a bit over the top for me, I’d take the NISMO. The thing that strikes me though is this is till a very pretty car. The design has held up very well IMO. The inside is another story though.
Great article and very interesting insight. I approached the game with very low expectations and while it certainly did not live up to its potential or hype I didn’t hate it.
Dig it.
After building a few fun off-road/oveland rigs, complete with roof top tents, on board hot water, solar and all sorts of fun stuff I realized you reach a point where you start heavily trading daily driver comfort and convenience for off-road/off-grid comfort and convenience. That was fine when I was a single guy and…
I didn’t catch that either. Man lots of childhood memories of that thing and doing stupid dangerous stuff as the ride operator looked on with a mix of indifference and hope that we might find new ways to creative injure ourselves.
I have one of each in two different comps
All the stars for you, I haven’t laughed that hard before finishing my morning coffee in a long time!
I have the opposite reaction. I am generally annoyed when I have to purchase more items than what is practical (Or courteous) for the self check out lanes.
Having done similar upgrades from a 1080 and a 1080ti: You will need to go to a RTX 2080 to get a real bump from the GTX1080.
When items are available for same day delivery on check out it gives me the option to break items into multiple shipments for quicker delivery, or wait and receive them all in one box.
