I don't know if it's because I've been in a dark place in my life lately but harassers like this should be neutered so that their genes can't contaminate any further generations. Pathetic losers

It is the same way every artist starts.

I hope he's never allowed to play again. Play stupid games

Yeah smurfing is bullshit and should not be tolerated.

Drop a million dollars in my lap and I might be able to retire a few years early. Drop a billion dollars in my lap, and I can live like a king for 500 years. There is absolutely no use for a billion dollars except for taking food out of the mouths of millions of people. It’s not enough for them to be rich - others

Ha this was EPIC. Glad to see it.  I know when I try to learn a complicated game, like DOTA 2, smurfs absolutely destoyed the new player experience.

What the “riches” don’t understand is that eventually things will be too expensive, period, and they will lose all that money they’re hoarding, in recovering the costs.

The problem isn’t that people don’t “[set] out to make a bad game,” it is that they specifically put out a completely fake bullshot trailer, lied about the game that they were making (repeatedly), and delivered a game that looked different (absolutely worse) than any of their previous materials in a different genre

From WHAT?? That is clearly Yvonne Strahovski from acclaimed videogame Mass Effect 2.

Old man yelling at cloud moment here, I realize, but I think I stopped caring about legendaries when gen 3 came out. Some were neat, but there were too many (imo) in that gen, and a lot of them did not feel ‘legendary’ to me (and ya’ll can roast me, the Regis are the lamest, ugliest legendaries in the first 3 gens).

So you want money because they stole your likeness, the likeness you stole from a movie.... >.>

It’s weird to see Zelda being referred as if it was not already an action-RPG. And even weirder saying Secret of Mana is a game you play with “two AI companions” and completely ignoring the best part of the game: three-player local co-op.

It was called “Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden” in Japan. So even there it had Final Fantasy branding.

Those speeches are literally the moment. That’s when you can drop what is close to your heart, what helped you drive your work and what made working hard. It’s meant to be emotional and personal. That includes things that are for some reason considered “political”. If people don’t want to hear it, that’s another

The time and place is where and when people are listening. The people who most like to say “time and place” are also the kind of people that will scream for Colin Kaepernick to be arrested after kneeling in protest, something HE LITERALLY CONSULTED WITH VETERANS ON TO DO IN THE MOST RESPECTFUL WAY, but then won’t bat

As promising as this thing looks, it’s still not the same to me without co-op. What made SoM and SD3 so memorable to me was sharing the adventures with my 2 brothers. That’s what set it apart from every other action RPG. That niche is still underutilized today and Mana could easily capitalize on it, but for whatever

From that very short trailer, there were enough gameplay bits present, where I could faintly spot elements of recent 3rd person Action/RPG games from Square Enix that have generally been fun to play. So far, that’s a good sign.

Has Square Enix ever made a good mana game? Or was it all the MUCH better developers from the superior SquareSoft?

Final Fantasy Adventure was Square North America’s renaming of Seiken Densetsu to try and get sales off of name recognition...Secret of Mana is Seiken Densetsu 2.

The Game Awards is about Geoff Keighly’s ego, and very little else.
