iTunes provides it's own revenue stream outside of the MacOS and hardware sales. As such, does it not pay for it's own existence above and beyond the computer it's run on? Apple was an "also ran" with a strong following until the iPhone came along. Now it's a phone/content company that also makes computers.

And yes,

Sorry about my "voice", but points to you for avoiding a quarrel :)

Obsolete is an interesting term. Most people mean it to mean "there's something newer out" rather than "it's not useful anymore". Given a lot of people, and this may not include you, use their computers primarily for web browsing and email, then even an old machine still works fine.

Hardware support: More things work as intended for windows than Mac because there aren't any Mac drivers!

Restaurants with vending machines replacing cashiers were also great. You find a lot of them in subways, but getting the hang of them made things pretty easy. Being able to read Japanese (or find pictures) helps, but there are a ton of apps for that now, yes?

One of my favorites...

I've been reworking my "worth of time". If I get paid your $100/hour for 40 hours a week, we take the $4,000 and divide it by 168 for a week's worth of hours. That's about $23/hour. The logic is that everything I do besides my job supports my ability to do that job. So a full 8 hours of sleep is then supports

Be like the phone company? Stop helping, let them know it's due to missed payments and charge a reconnect fee :P

After having dealt with tourists from outside of my own country, I'd have to say "language barrier" is a big factor. Besides, some folks like having that stuff set up beforehand.

Is there a better app manager than the default play store? Even my old XP machine let me sort my apps by install date, size, name, etc.

What if I just outsourced my kids to India?

Reduce your buzz? EXTEND IT with grapefruit juice! :D

How did they make up for it? "Grab and go" incentives, higher prices, maybe a pay toilet and laxatives in your chocolate croissant?

I'm a bit disappointed by the "saving you money part". LH has had enough articles on apps for finding deals to cover the extra data costs on your smartphone a few times over. I know one guy who "makes" $100 a month by doing surveys at Denny's and getting free meals out of it. It'll go towards a bypass, but still >.>

Payday is next week.

Quick search turned up a similar app for android. "Habit Streak". Time to try!

Even worse, it's a woman. Oh noes!

Is that all over the EU, or just the UK?
