I agree with Russell, but on the basis that it's not the generic FPS "multiplayer" where you run around shooting stuff up with the only objective of shooting stuff up. I loved the co-op of Borderlands and look forward to #2.

PIS OFF

Was "Urate" supposed to be "Urinate"??

It's a fine line between being paranoid and a fool.

I'm Kim DotCom!!

Damn you! I came in here to say I'd rather see Sam L than Asshton.

Dammit, are we that predictable???!!

The internets are slipping this morning.

If they taste like "preserved duck eggs" why don't you just eat preserved duck eggs? I like the taste of fine cheese too, but minus the piss.

Oh, boys under 10. Sorry, wrong thread.

Say NO to choice!! I even think a government agency should decide the size of phones. Maybe start the OASiS administration (Obama Approved Size in Screen)!!!

Now playing

When I was younger, everything was about Kelly LeBrock!

The one in the plaid is smoking, the other two like it in the pooper.

Is Nintendo thinking that their price point and fan base driven sales will match that of the Wii? I think not. Most of those rest homes, soccer moms, and etc will not be purchasing a Wii-2.

The "steam box" has a very small targeted audience. Think about it. If it's upgradeable, it's a PC. If it's not, then it too will become an outdated "console". Businesses know that the profit is in software sales, which is why MS and Sony have taken losses on the hardware.

Yes, because wishing ill on people is totally within moral standards eh?

I really don't care about the used game industry from the corporate standpoint. I'm more worried about borrowing/swapping a game with a buddy. Sometimes a friend and I choose two games, play, then swap. Of course, the games that offer co-op that we are interested in get double sales (Gears, Halo, Borderlands, etc).

This all day. The market is there and is proven. Not only by Steam, but by Apple as well.

Another way to see this is that there could be a following of 3rd party developers that only develop for the platform that does not allow used games. They may gamble that the lost revenue from other platforms would be made up or more by not losing out to used game sales.

I'm sure there are some Angry Bird die hards out there, but the shine is really wearing off.
