"I don't get it," and "makes no goddamn sense," are two different things.

Yup, pretty much. I totally paid $20 to spite Capcom from denying me MML3 and guess what? Money well spent. The joys of having a real job and disposable income!
Don't feed the troll people.
Well sorry but after the 3rd or 5th "you don't care about mega man." i stopped reading your comment and decided to point something out to you.
I'm tempted to cancel my Xbox One pre-order because of the 1 in a million chance i'll bump into this muppet on Xbox live.
I think the problem a lot of people have with the mandatory bundling of the Kinect is that the "difference" it represents hasn't been unveiled to them in a convincing manner. People aren't saying that they don't want Microsoft to be different from Sony or anybody else. They're wondering, rather, why Microsoft can't be…
But it's better to be bundled because it means there will be a greater focus on it. Developers will know that everyone has one.
Gun already covered the rest so I'll take the Vita.
I think that your argument is not without merit. Innovation is nice to see for sure. But I think there are two problems in this specific scenario. First and foremost is that we are rapidly approaching the time where Kinect must be judged to be just plain old broken. The first one was broken, but OK that was an…
Microsoft burned me when I bought my 360 and it RROD'd within a week (And then 7 more times over the years...). I'll be taking a wait and see approach this time around.
Well, that's four minutes of shitty dubstep I'll never have to listen to again at least.
Doesn't creating a video game require the use of multiple mediums purely in it's conception?
The script for Dear Esther could mostly likely stand perfectly well on it's own as a piece of literature.
It could have been in the medium of audio, requiring only the script and the reading, for people to treat it like an radio…
Before the release of the Vita, one comment often noted was 'that if it had 2 analog sticks, I'd buy it'. This was why they didn't get a PSP, or one of the arguments at least. And with the build up to the Vita reveal, it was desired that it would have 2 analogs, and how much pull that would have regarding a purchase.
Well? They have dual analogs... Don't they?
I disagree 100%. I think it would be far lesser a piece without the interactivity aspect. Every time I've played and seen someone else play the interactivity between the two players had a different context and pace and form their own little narrative. It was super neat to observe and absolutely my favourite aspect to…
The interactivity was a massive part of making Journey as special as it is.
If you were watching a film, two characters cheeping at each other and you not having any clue what either was saying wouldn't be that entertaining.
They would either have to give a voice and dialogue to one of the characters or make the cheeps…
The whole "copyright" thing has been taken to far.
Actually, many games, including Skyrim were developed on 360 then ported to PS3. It just so happens GTAV was made on PS3 and ported to 360. Just like half the development of Battlefield 3 was on PS3 and the other PC, then ported to the 360.
How do you sleep at night? In a bed of villainy? A futon of criminality?
A hammock of evil?
I think the reason is mostly that Sony knows it will win the war against MS in Japan anyway. So instead of having the typical sold-out-at-launch-effect everywhere in the world they can shift some of the japanese capacities to other parts of the world (USA and Europe) thus allowing for higher sales with a broader…
