What did you expect? He's mad!
That was not the joke.
To those that believe this is a "PC Master Race" propaganda piece:
"mystical god-power-imbibed weapons"
Amnesia: The Dark Descent's narrative makes love to my senses each time I play it! I have been rationing it out over months to avoid beating it too quickly. I dig how certain thing change if you die. You can never figure out the game at the level of enemy placement, turning ratios, oil duration etc. It makes you deal…
A fellow optimist! Who is also a fellow horror fan! Too few like us.
I suspect you are being sarcastic, yet I agree with the face value of your words.
Agree on all fronts.
I am very glad to see someone express concern with an unfamiliar experience in a game without turning it into a declaration that said game is ruined.
I know you meant well, but my life is now diminished by the knowledge this game you suggest is not in it.
No. Not really.
Thank you.
I do not know what you mean by proof against the game. You made a statement. DianaStyles disproved it. I delighted in her response so I cheered her on. It was never my intention to add to the discussion, as DianaStyles ended it pretty conclusively. You ask me questions and I respond.
The part where it is supposed to be true.
You said the games were linear. No line has diverging paths to multiple endpoints. Therefore, proving the existence of multiple endings disproves linearity. Her mention of multiple endings is a valid refutation of your point. That you did not mention them in your initial post does not mean they are irrelevant.
