Yes, they can evolve! It's like Pokémon in that they have three levels of evolution, but there's a key difference; you can choose the third form between two different variations. The two level three variations will look totally different, have different types and weaknesses, different attacks and purposes

I don't know, the first version was the worst thing that's happened to this site since I've been using it. Commenting was always the best part of the site for me, and Kinja absolutely destroyed that by changing it so that nobody ever replied. This place was a wasteland for a good few months afterwards.

That first Kinja unveil was the worst thing that's happened to this site since I've been a visitor. It was absolutely awful. o.O It did such a good job of hiding all comments away that nobody ever replied to you, which made commenting - one of the main reasons I stay around here more than any other gaming site - feel

I've gotta say, I'm definitely okay with the new system so far. When Kinja first came about, it just seemed to damage more things than it fixed, but this new incarnation actually seems to improve a number of things. I've always thought that changes should only be implemented if they're actually improvements, and so so

"We call it Kinja.

When I ended it, the whole world and everyone in it died. I loved that. That was the best possible ending for the worst two games in the Final Fantasy series; total fucking annihilation. No comebacks. The end of the world had never felt so good!

You've got Kinect to blame for that one. The 360 had a really solid lineup of exclusives in 2010; Mass Effect 2, Crackdown 2, Halo Reach, Fable 3, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, there was some good shit in there! Then Kinect launched, and what did 2011 hold? Just Gears 3 and Forza 4. 2012? Just Halo 4 and Forza

It was only the first generation of PS3s that could play PS2 games. The current ones can still, to my knowledge, play PS1 games, just not PS2 games.

Well, now we're just nit-picking. Fact remains that whilst Nintendo themselves are content with pumping out four near-idential NSMB games, this third-party Canadian developer went along and made a sequel that sounds bigger and better than its Nintendo-made predecessor in every way.

No hate to Nintendo or anything, I just expect more from them, that's all. They've been almost creatively void for a long time now, all too comfortable with their success and afraid to try new things.

Having thought about it some more, I just want to add that I don't hate Nintendo or anything. I love them to bits, they've put out some of the best games ever made, no arguments there! I just expect more from them. Before NSMB, each 2D Mario game looked entirely different, they sounded entirely different and featured

That's really cool. I've still got a way to go with the game yet, and at times I've already had to try and look up familiars to see what they learn and when they can evolve, so something like this would make life much easier!

And yet they still seem to have put in more effort, that's a little embarrassing.

...Are you actually being serious? Nintendo's gameplay has been "design by numbers" for a very, very long time now. The NSMB games aren't just "similar", they look exactly the same; same world themes, same art design, same music, same number of worlds, same set-up each time, the only thing different is power-ups and

Very nice. I give Nintendo a lot of shit for releasing games that are barely different to their predecessors, so it's good to hear that they've gone above and beyond with this one.

Yeah that sounds about right to me. With PS+, Sony have been all about providing value for money, and they've been rewarded with it because PS+ subs are way up, and people are loving the service. There's no way they'd throw that away now so the PS4 will definitely have it, and I can't see why Gaikai wouldn't be a part

1) If the games are streamed, then it's being run on Sony's servers, not your own PS4 hardware.

lmao, I have to admit, I played Okami HD for the first time a few weeks back and, well, I drew a penis. There's a sidequest where a kid comes up with a design, and you have to draw the design on the blank cloth of a fashion designer. I found the designer before I found the kid, so when tasked with drawing a design, I

That's very sweet of you, Waldo, I think I love you too! I bet you any amount of money that ol' Senselocke here won't join the love-in, though.

Probably not the people that own those physical copies, because those people presumably have a PS3 that can keep playing those discs. Also, Sony have hinted that the PS4 could potentially "read" your PS3 discs and then give you access to the streamed version, as the PS4 couldn't run the code itself. I don't know if
