I read this story off of a reddit link, and a lot of people also came to her defense in keeping the car. The fact is, a known vehicle with a known maintenance history is a relatively smart decision over selling and getting a possible clunker. This 17-year-old monster forced a 17-year-old boy (himself) to pose for child pornography, thereby victimizing himself. We need to do whatever it takes to show victimizers like this boy that they can't just harm innocent victims, like himself, on a whim.

By all rights, if the mother wants the boy to be prosecuted for producing child pornography, her daughter is culpable, too, for taking her own pics!

I bet the mom is close to someone on the prosecutor's team. That would also explain why the girl has so far not been charged as well.
