All to often wiz-bang features end up being useless or at best used as toys. Turning a wiz-bang into a usable tool is always great, but you're setting people up for disappointment if you don't address one thing, the mic. If the room is noisy, music is playing or one is using a poor microphone Apples speech

When I saw the Sun Jar I didn't think too much of it. Putting my solar lamps in a preserves jar makes more sense, as what generally destroys the lights, aside from the NiCds getting old is moisture.

This was funny, except the machine I set it up on crashed with the BSOD the next morning. I though the screen saver was stuck.

Online guides like this don't bother me. Mostly because the information gained requires a lot of patience and practice. Most are not patient and don't practice.

What it all comes down to is stability and ease of use. Apple really put's it's self in a hole when it claims copying, as many of Windows features were independently derived.
