The landing is the thing. That twin booster touchdown...you are going to be seeing that clip a long time from now, right alongside the stage separation shots from the Saturn V’s/Apollo program.
I didn’t even care about work. I just watched...cranked The Right Stuff in my headphones and cheered and tweeted.
I don’t know why, but I’ve always wanted to see a movie based on Big Jim Slade.
It’s historical because we now have the means to become an interplanetary species, and we know for a fact it works.
I work with a bunch of people who prefer Home and Garden TV. I was able to get them to watch this and they all were impressed.
