Some of these commenters shouldn’t have had such a sloppy mudpie

This is the exact plot of the movie “Moon” with Sam Rockwell.

Just saying, hate him for the right reasons.

It’s a shame the politics behind the scenes... meanwhile Kevin has prob. already thought of the idea of creating an in-house co. maybe trained by ILM pros to keep the legacy alive... and can’t get it through bc Disney politics

Disney does actually have an in house VFX studio, they got ILM in the Lucasfilm acquisition.

Makes you wonder why they don’t just build their own VFX studio at this point.

Pixar probably has a much better handle on how many artists they need to produce a picture movie, and it probably remains more constant Pixar project to Pixar project. (And with Pixar, the CGI *is* the movie, so to me from a creative standpoint you’d want the full control over the artists and they would be stakeholder

Was ILM not part of the LucasFilm buyout?

Disney can, obviously. But, thus far, outsourcing provides the results they’re looking for, but much cheaper. Disney’s not going to change unless the price goes up, or the quality declines.

Disney DOES own a VFX studio. In fact they own THE VFX studio: Industrial Light & Magic. Which USED to be fully unionized. I think you would think that choice is marketing. A biopic about Marilyn Monroe starring Ana de Armas that’s rated PG or PG-13? Yawn. A biopic about Marilyn Monroe starring Ana de Armas rated NC-17? That’s at least five to ten minutes people will fast forward through and watch.

Given that Buzz and Zurg were the only characters to get a toyline in-universe, it would not surprise me if this was a ROM Spaceknight situation, where one company held the trademarks/copyrights to the main character and villain, but another company held the rights to the movie and all characters created within. But

Hi friends

There’s actually a clicker (the blind variety of this universes zombies) hiding in that shot —- you may need to bump your brightness up to see though.

He didn’t make a joke about her alopecia. He made a joke about her being bald, which isn’t the same thing.

Hopefully they won’t have a comics podcast with Scott and Zooks, ugh

I think there are two main reasons:

1) The decision to undertake a criminal prosecution is made by the State and/or Feds (I believe, I am not a criminal lawyer), depending on the offence, rather than the victim. With a civil action the decision is, for the most part, purely in the hands of the plaintiff.

2) There is a

She sounds awful, and most of that stuff would cause me to not want to watch her in anything.

But I don’t understand why the vaccination stuff always leads these articles about her except that its attention grabbing given the state of the world. “She once had a frivolous view of vaccines but changed her mind.” Why is
