I feel ya. Same problem here.

The Vulcans are human-like, but they’re still aliens. Isn’t it possible that secret siblings are just a commonplace practice on Vulcan? I’m not the ultimate Trek expert, but I’m unaware of anything in canon that really contradicts the possibility.
It just seems like a Frank Miller story is exactly the opposite of a Superman story.
Is it really a problem for Batman to be fifty? I don’t get how it matters, as long as you still believe he can do the Batman stuff, and as long as he still puts teenage girl butts in seats. Which I think Affleck did, didn’t he?
Quests for identity! The Matrix, Dark City, Blade Runner. I like the mystery of the self and the unraveling of self-delusion, however voluntary or imposed it might be.
Why would we establish a colony on Mars before we put a base on the moon?
I guess it’s a cliche answer, but it really is my favorite quote. Best line in any movie ever:
My favorite character being Superman, I figure the general population knows a reasonable amount. They know Krypton, kryptonite, Lois Lane, the Daily Planet, Lex Luthor, and about 60% of his powers.
It makes sense. Harry Potter isn’t just a cute, fluffy underdog with a lot of scrap. Sometimes that actor has to be able to say things like:
No, it doesn’t convince me. I remain both open-minded and skeptical as to the possibility, but this guy saying that something’s going on doesn’t even really prove that anything is going on, let alone that extraterrestrials are responsible. I’m not even sure where to begin fact-checking his claims. Drawing conclusions…
Grant Morrison Superman may be peak Superman.
Sports fans fight strangely. It’s like they’re all drunk ... oh, right. Never mind.
I think Michonne has a plan. She’s a problem-solver, if a bit of a blunt instrument. But she doesn’t just do stuff without a plan. I didn’t know why she started dragging bodies around, but I figured she had a plan, and she did. I’m sure she has a plan for Negan as well.
I don’t feel like The Walking Dead is the kind of show that’s trying to tell you what’s right and what’s wrong. It presents an ongoing dilemma (titular walking dead), and then a bunch of interesting sub-dilemmas (Governors, Mals, Negans, hungry dogs, depression, missing limbs, babies), and then shows you how everybody…
I assume the wolf was more interested in the dog than the woman. Wolves will go after dogs, but hardly ever mess with humans. It sounds to me like this woman basically kept the dog from being attacked by the wolf with her presence, whether she realized it or not.
Their willingness to subvert themselves seems entirely respectable to me.
It’s not all religious concerns, is it? Aren’t there totally secular ethical concerns for some people?
This gives me an idea for a zombie movie.
For me, the order goes like this:
They gave us a choice between a right-wing conservative and Donald Trump. And you’ll note that voting for Clinton didn’t actually work, either. You should be saying “fuck you” to everyone for the past two centuries that has gone along with two-party politics.
