I am just now hearing about this whole "PIV = rape" thing. This is fascinating stuff.

You're all kids. I'm taking all your pies!

Captain Marvel is the obvious answer.

Is it possible that they just don't have the scripts?

Is it possible that people were more reluctant to lie to men because they feared (consciously or unconsciously) some sort of retaliation or punishment might follow, whereas when dealing with women they didn't have that fear?

Right back atcha.

You're right. I mean, I reserve the right to judge whatever I want, however I want, but you're right that I shouldn't be getting in anybody's way. Live how you wanna live.

You're right. But I just can't help but blame the participants for the problem, even if they're also the victims. Uh-oh. Am I a victim-of-our-culture's-idiocy-blamer?

I'm against this general class of artificial intrusion into the body's workings. Steroids, plastic surgery, etc. I mean, not strongly against it, everybody has to make up their own minds about these things, and I'm sure there are people with legit medical concerns that should probably make use of existing

I was thinking maybe he wasn't putting orange goop on his face, just on the rest of his body. He does also have a very tiny head, though. Also, I think it might be Andy Garcia.

I guess I think, "That sucks. There must be a way to make the world less rapey."

The trust comes in because, in the absence of evidence other than a person's claim, you've got nothing else to rely on.

I'm not sure about this. Unarmed women can be plenty dangerous, even to a professional athlete. I don't know if he married Gina Carano or what, but it's not at all inconceivable. I'm not saying that's what happened. Just that it's possible.

I don't trust anybody I don't know that far. There are some people I do know that I don't trust that far.

Not automatically, no. Do you?

I have to admit, I don't automatically believe someone who says they've been raped. I don't automatically assume they're lying, either. Is that really rape culture?

Do you immediately believe someone who says she's raped, then?

I had questions about this, too. If you're wrong for asking, so am I.

"What's happening now is we are seeing problems from a variety of places, some of it due to globalization, frankly, which has an opposite side that has created a lot of nationalism in those countries or places where people feel lost within the facelessness of globalization."

I don't think we know what homo sapiens did for the first few hundred thousand years or so. We have some evidence, a ton of hypotheses and a few theories, but I think there's still a lot of guesswork involved.
