Seems like a terrible logo. I am no great fan of Apple (despite having an iPad and an Apple TV, I still dislike the company), but the clean design of their logos versus the more noisy and boring design of Microsoft's, highlights the differences between the two companies.

And thank-you, Molly, for leading us to this life-changing site. My face now hurts from laughing.

I go iTunes mostly because I've bit partway into the Apple pie with an iPad and two Apple TVs. I went all that way because Amazon doesn't serve Canada with downloadable video. Even if they did, it's probably too late for me — I have too much content stuck behind Apple DRM bars. Speaking of which, does anybody know

When I was a kid my grandfather used to be able to mesmerize me with, "It was a dark and stormy night. The robbers were assembled in their cave. The chieftan said to Antonio, 'Antonio, tell us a story.' And Antonio said, 'It was a dark and stormy night. The robbers were assembled in their cave. The chieftan said

I can. I was offering what is known as an opposing point of view.

Your friend is you.

I think "Hulk: literary critic" should have his own twitter feed. It might also be fun if Hulk and the silver age Thor had a Siskel and Ebert type show.

Apparently while I was listening to this in one room, my five-year-old was in another saying, "What is that awful music daddy was listening to? I'm going downstairs to play my game so I don't have to hear that awful music?"

Every now and then, Doctor, I read one of your comments and realize that you, just a few years older, seem to have lived the life that I was wanting to live when I was nine or ten or eleven. Well done.

Man, I totally can't decide what troll-y thing to respond to this. Options:

I just went and read the whole transcript. Thank-you for posting this.

I have a very bad feeling about this. No doubt in the last act, THE ALIEN WILL TRY TO SPREAD TO EARTH and THE ENTIRE MOON WILL BE IN DANGER OF EXPLODING and THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE COULD BE ENSLAVED FOREVER. Oh, also, AND OTHER STUFF.

Thanks, Mario. I finally got firstname.lastname on an email address. Other than the work one.

It's all good. I'm glad I didn't snap back too much. (I didn't, did I?) Peace out, and thanks for the clarification. Hope your day improved.

No, my point was to critique top-down autocratic parenting — and then to note that I'm not perfect. Anyone who says they're perfect or that they have all the answers is kidding you.

1. Have a good relationship with your kids.

I disagree. Your article said that there is a one in ten chance that I'm dreaming (others have already corrected the math), but from your point of view, Brian, there is a zero percent chance that I am dreaming. Either neither of us is dreaming or I am a character in your dream.

Sigh. I hate Apple, yet I have two AppleTVs and two iPads in the house. Started with an iPad, then bought a few things on iTunes, so it seemed natural to get an ATV. That worked well — streaming from the desktop, the laptop, airplaying from the iPad. Got some shows for the kids. Now I'm so invested in DRMed

I always thought I sounded like the Swedish Chef when I was doing it.
