I’m so tired of America pretending to be something it isn’t. And the “think of the children!” hype is just that when we allow children to be slaughtered at school, refuse to feed them, and parents are protesting in the streets for the right for their kids to get very sick and possibly die.

These people love to crow about America being the best country ever but are also constantly fighting against basic shit like feeding schoolchildren.  It’s nuts.

Especially when the Feds are paying for it, so it costs the school nothing.

This is meanness for the sake of meannness.

So the next time someone says...in America, that’s not who we are or we’re better than that...it is exactly who “we” are and nope, “we” are not better than that. “We” are willing to allow children to be hungry when “we” can feed them. This really is an abomination.

If God didn’t want these children to starve, he would’ve had them born into families that could afford food.

When the most devout are the least moral. It has to be the #1 cause in the decline of religion in America ... and yet, try telling any of them that. They get apoplectic.

No idea of the details, but most settlements are so that the accused party doesn’t actually have to admit fault. Most are before things go to trial but they can still be reached during a trial. If the court accepts the agreement before a verdict the accused would still only be an alleged criminal. If the accused…
