Doctor Octopus fits the bill.

Yes, bowing to business and capitalism is the antithesis to woke.

China made the NBA bend to its will so that the NBA would show their games again. If anyone is really worried about “cancel culture” this is how it will come.

This is why this has been dumb since the beginning. Blue check was to verify. Not to be cool. Not for features. If Musk had an ounce of brains he would have made these distinct things. A verification and a Twitter+ or something else.

I love that they have featured locations that can change up the decks tho.

I didn’t have the time to spend on OW2 like I did OW1....I would throw money at loot boxes occasionally. So I guess this all means, if I don’t have time to grind, I’m just out for OW2?

...and I bet most of “us” have a decade worth of games in that system.

I don’t play as much as I used to, but I would still log in for events throw down $5 for some boxes to get some event skins. I guess....I just won’t spend money now?

I find this annoying with their browser. “Internet Explorer is dead, here’s Edge instead”

There was a rise and fall of it that felt predictable...building up to do something...bad guy comes and ruins everything...minor win...and repeat.

I haven’t proably been on NMS in maybe two years, and I think I’ve missed 3 or 4big  updates since then....and none of these look radically different.

I read Shadow and Bone recently and I wasn’t impressed, seemed cliche. And I was confused on why the show had these extra characters...glad to know I can check out these other books.

I have a great collection of legendaries, enough coins in the bank to buy any that I’d want to get (i’d usually only spring for the 1,000 ones)....and now....I guess I’ll just miss out?

Is there a purpose for all the RGB that I don’t understand?

All nostalgia. People remember happy meals. People remember the old characters that they hardly see anymore. Then it’s a limited time thing. So...people want it.

I feel like this was a bait and switch, I saw headlines about the nostalgic character giveaways and it ended up being this weird four eyed kind.

Finally got in last night....and it just felt like a polished version of 1. Finished a game and turned it off.

How it usually works, you pay money....you get heroes immediately/quickly and more total cosmetics faster (with less grind).

It’s like they broke the seal with micro-transitions, and are going all-in. They’re going to go from being well known for making amazing well-thought out games, to being greedy micro-transition obsessives.

I just imagine someone walking into the CEO’s office, chatting about the latest organizational news, “Oh and before I leave...what are we doing about Stadia?

“Oh...what’s Stadia? The gaming thingy? Oh...yeah let’s cancel that”
