    I so very much wanted this to be a case of Nintendo paying GameStop subsidies on Switch trade-ins in order to get as many hackable Switches out of rotation as possible. It’d be the most intense anti-hardware-hack move I’d ever seen a company do, but alas, that Fortnite Skin shit makes complete sense.

    I’m always super hesitant to buy into any news article headlines that say “this major company with dozens of offices across the globe did this one bad thing to this one person or small group of people!” Like... no... the company didn’t do that thing, some idiot in some department got past typical checks and balances…

This is the only person to point out that Bahrain doesn’t actually have taxes, which perfectly invalidates my joke, unlike everyone else who responded assuming that I live in the U.S. or that I don’t live in Bahrain. Please, vote his reply up ASAP!
