Drat those gerbils; the video links worked fine when I previewed my comment, really! This time for sure... (Button up my sleeve, and presto!!)
Can't believe nobody's yet mentioned The Bundy Bounce.
@Strega07: Well said. The blokes are spot on with many of the picks, but others...
Just the thing to drive your kids up the wall...
Yeah, that'll happen, and Obama will do it all, single-handed. He is the messiah after all.
@PickupMan04: Funny; when I read @Van Sarockin "1. It's constant throttle, not constant speed, that will yield the best milage. In your highest/overdrive gear.", my first thought was, "full throttle? That can't be right. Might be fun, but.." Duh. Sometimes I crack me up.
My favorites are the hosebags that list something slightly commonplace but at a ridiculously low price but with a strange number; like the 2003 VW Passat I saw listed just now for $2,790 (but has since been flagged.) You reply to the seller and they have some story about how they were transferred overseas and the car…
Stag. Hands down.
"... even though some may feel drifting isn't a real sport, it's unquestionably fun."
The only one in the US? Shouldn't this be on PCH?
I was a bit skeptical of his plans when I first heard of it (link), but the more I read, the more I liked the idea. And this piece of the puzzle makes it all the more brilliant. I'd suggest the doubters need to read up a bit and think again.
@graverobber- It says Loud Pipes Save Lives: Nah; ctrl-alt-del is reserved for the times you kill it when pulling away from a stoplight on a hill. It does need a great big glowing power button for a starter though, placed conspicuously, like in the middle of the dashboard, or the middle of the steering wheel. That'd…
Awesome pedals? What about the crank & derailleurs? Campy or Dura Ace?
Seems that if they didn't believe the 307 story, they could've waited to see if they won first then let the payloader have at it. That would've been much more entertaining.
@crankcase: Wasn't he working on bringing the Chery to North America too? Haven't heard anything about that for a while now.
I knew that video looked familiar. This video first came to light thanks to Triborough; check out his comment on a recent PCH.
@graverobber- It says Loud Pipes Save Lives: That was... Um, just a little disturbing. Watched Hannibal last night? Or maybe Alive?
Would it hurt someone at Craigslist to put a couple of hints in their ad posting form about some simple html commands? Like maybe the br tag? Not that it would matter much to someone in the mood for a tirade like that in the X1/9 ad, but at least try.
I like the Ariel Atom myself. Bodywork just blocks the view of the beauty of the mechanicals.
