So cool! You've got to come up with some kind of contest with this thing as the Grand Prize.

Sorry, but after being spoiled by that vision of loveliness known as the Furai, I can no longer get excited by this machine.

I'll take the Aussie Valiant. How hard would it be to convert to left-hand drive?

Why couldn't this have been the replacement for the RX8? That machine looks so stodgy next to the Furai.

Holy tree stumps: 737.56 lb-ft of torque?!?! That's trailer towing territory there. With a little added structural reinforcement, a guy could mount a fifth-wheel hitch to the roof of that puppy. Wouldn't that be a sight, pulling into a KOA with that Audi tucked under the front of a travel trailer.

Wow dang, that is lovely music. Sounds an awful lot like the pod racers from Phantom Menace. @Rust-MyEnemy is right on the money; gotta be something alien powering that thing.

Gee, didn't one of your commentors mention this the other day? I wonder who that was?

Jeez you guys are being tough on this guy. I kinda like it, especially if you can rip the doors & roof panels off in short order (provided they seal better than the last Jeep removable hardtop I used.)

I remember racing against an AMX back in high school, just for fun; the guy absolutely smoked my Chevelle (not that that's saying much, but I was impressed.) That and the fact that the Javelin's lines are just wrong. Never have liked the way they looked, probably never will.

Any word on what city this was? Obviously not a place where the drivers are accustomed to any amount of snow/ice.

Zuki. You can shut down the voting any time.

I voted Cord; definitely the more hellish project and the more valuable when (if, definitely if) it's ever finished.

Now Murilee... Surely you could do better than a single side view photo of the thing. See how easy it is?

Wow; some great stories here!

One recent one; leaving work in my Suzuki Sidekick, pull up to the first stop sign in second gear and push in the clutch pedal. Very little resistance, and I keep on rolling. There's a truck coming down the hill from the left at about 50mph, so I steer the Sidekick into the ditch, jerk the thing into neutral, and kill

Never happened to you? Dang; you're good! It's happened to me a number of times. I can recall two times when I actually ran out but had enough momentum to roll into a gas station. Other times involved a brief walk & begging to borrow a gas can from the station. One thing I learned is that older carburated engines are

Good grief. Why would someone build something like that & then paint it booger green? 30 minutes to go on the auction and the 6 bids are only up to $5000. If only it were painted black or Ferrari Red... But please; no more yellow & monkey motifs.
