Stout is almost as cool a name as Stag; could go for it on that alone, but it's a got looks too. Kinda reminds me of the mid-60's Dodge PowerWagons. And then it's got the "Has been undercover for the last several years" thing going on. 007 plates too?

Not a big deal. I've seen humans do far, far stupider things. Just watch traffic at a 4-way stop for 15 minutes.

Is he flipping the bird in that photo?

This was a tough one; an obscure Brit with a cool name in what seems to be decent condition, or a beat up 911 that just oozes possibilities?

I've experienced an X-1/9 (where does that name come from anyway?) through a friend, and wouldn't wish one on my worst enemy. Bad stuff that. I've always liked the styling, but I'd go for a 1st gen MR2 before I'd even consider the Fiat.

@Mad_Science: I can see it now; the next trend will be for wheel & tire shops to "manually distress" wheels to look like that. Kinda like antique dealers/furniture shops will beat up wood furniture to make it look well loved.

@SeanKHotay: Excellent. Can I nominate this guy for COTD?

The shot of the spider webs by the fin sealed the deal for me. That and the blood stains. Only a madman would showcase shots like that. He's in.

So what's the question? Which would I rather have under the hood?

@jakay11: Actually, tomorrow (Nov. 1) is All Saints Day, or All Hallows Day. Today is the eve of the holy day, thus the word "Halloween" is a shortened version of "All Hallows Eve".

@Benson2175: Now that's not so far fetched; here's and outfit that's been fitting Porsches with Chevy power for a long, long time (be sure to check out their "Wall of Shame". Some precious memories & hearty laughs to be found there.)

Tata Motors... That's funny.

I voted for the Camaro, but no enduro racing for me, thanks. I might just park it in the back yard, run an extension cord & AC converter to it, and sit in it for hours groovin' to '80's classics. The '79 Camaro brings back such good memories... (sigh)

Yeah, the Mud Master C is ok, but I can't get the Suzuki X-Head out of my head. Guess I've always been a kid at heart.

Bitters all the way, especially when one already has been LS1'ed.

@Mad_Science: The sad thing is that Jeep did do a pickup back in the early '80's with the CJ8 Scrambler, but it didn't sell well, probably because it sucked at being a pickup. Now, if their marketing department hadn't been comatose through the '80's & '90's, maybe they'd have made options for the CJ8 platform for a

I love how that AEV Brute looks. Jeep should've done something like that years ago. And the hemi under the hood... Please tell me somebody at Chrysler/Jeep thought of that on their own. That should be a no-brainer.

@FreeMan: No, no, no... It's Da Craaaawwwww! You've got to get the proper accent for it to come out right.

Thanks, but I'll wait for the Holodeck version. The games are fun, but no matter how realistic they make the cars and the tracks, if it doesn't give that kick-in-the-pants feeling when you hit the accelerator or that oh-shit feeling when you're whipping through a corner feeling the tires ready to break loose, it
