On the Doughboys Podcast, where they talk about chain restaurants, when they did Chipotle, 2 of them ordered the Quesarito and while it didn’t slow anything much down (they had to call a different team member to come make them), both wished they had just ordered something off the ACTUAL menu that would have tasted

He was just on the Sklar Brothers’ podcast 2 weeks ago, and he told the story about this ‘interview’, and how much he enjoyed it. After the video ends, apparently the guy came flying through the curtain with some non-scripted intent to injure him. He also told an insane story about getting stabbed by a fan.

When this movie came out, I heard about it, but never got to see it. About the time it was hitting HBO or Showtime or whatever, my (to be) wife and I were living with a highschool friend of hers (through a series of the poor decisions young people make). The girl whose house we were at starts scrolling through the

I once again fail at Kinja. Was trying to just put this in the replies, but somehow it’s here on your post. Oops.

I was on my way home from the local casino, so on a route I don’t use too often, then I see a shitload of cones, a closed lane, and a TV van, and some squad cars. Oh, it’s 100-200 people protesting outside this fucker’s office. I had seen the headlines and knew enough of what happened, but I had no idea the dude’s

I know this is an old article, but it popped up in my sidebar for some reason, so I’ll just echo a story similar to all the others here. My wife has the polycystic ovary thing (PCOD? Don’t remember) and her periods were always irregular. She would go 6 months without, or sometimes one would start 2 weeks after one

I could never be a base coach - can you imagine - you had an admirable career hitting, or running the bases (usually the case), then after you retire, you’re never going to be in the press again for anything positive - only criticized when you do something like this or get a rep for sending too many runners.

I think in the day and age of Yelp and other social media, he’d give the guy what he asked for, fearing online retribution.

I have been to that exhibit and seen said bear many times, though I was not there when this happened. Why is this comment even pertinent? I dunno, because it makes it about me, I guess.

You did so well we bearly missed him.

thought I scanned all the comments, but someone beat me to it by 8 minutes or so

His wife posted that. She was upset about how much of their sex life he shared casually in his ‘Evening With’ live shows, on his podcasts, on his message boards, Twitter, etc, and she basically gave him the “How would YOU feel if I shared stuff like this about you?” speech. He replied that she couldn’t say ANYTHING

Can’t wait to go when they get back

I’ve heard a handful of various Grantland contributors on different podcasts over the last few years, and they can’t stop raving about him.

It’s hoping Charlie Brown brings his kite the next time he’s scheduled to pitch.

since there’s been a lot of well-deserved church-goer bashing, this reminds me of a story my pastor told. One Sunday at the church he was attending, after the service was over, there was a couple who went outside and stood away from the building and lit up cigarettes. This was WAY before the 25-foot rule, and all that

My daughter is in an advanced program in Fourth Grade called “Elements”, and some of the students, herself included, have, well, interesting personalities and outlooks on life that could make them challenging in some situations. In my head “a fractions four-year-old” was something similar to that.

As you all know, they don’t really make up for the assholes, but my wife and I both worked mostly restaurant when we were first together (including together on the overnight shift at Steak N Shake), and we’ve experienced a few decent customers. Just something as simple as the guy who came in about 3 or 4 times a week

but at some McDonald’s they’re on the dollar menu (and actually cost $1.00, not “starting at $1.00” like the rest of the menu), so they’re cheaper or the same price by the 4-pack than in larger quantities, so you don’t have to get 20.

if you still have that burger, I’ll take it.
