My daughter is in an advanced program in Fourth Grade called “Elements”, and some of the students, herself included, have, well, interesting personalities and outlooks on life that could make them challenging in some situations. In my head “a fractions four-year-old” was something similar to that.

As you all know, they don’t really make up for the assholes, but my wife and I both worked mostly restaurant when we were first together (including together on the overnight shift at Steak N Shake), and we’ve experienced a few decent customers. but at some McDonald’s they’re on the dollar menu (and actually cost $1.00, not “starting at $1.00” like the rest of the menu), so they’re cheaper or the same price by the 4-pack than in larger quantities, so you don’t have to get 20.
