Some of the cars had excellent sound effects - like the 787B. Others - even otherwise premium ones - sounded like trumped up hoovers sucking around the track. It makes sense for the low-end cars with economy engines or the like, but not big sportscars.

And then it went rogue, developed a taste for crap music and tried to start a war with Russia.

Why can't more cars have fully digital displasys like this. Nowadays, they're cheaper than conventional analogue guages, and IMHO, look a lot cooler in a sort of Airbus Flight Deck manner.

It's not that much of a gimmick, if it makes the can easier to hold.
