My buddy got that last night the first or second time he killed a named NPC in the PvE area. I was pretty jelly.

I don’t know about that. Doing this you get over 20 purple items every 10 minutes. And you don’t have to worry about extracting/losing your stuff.

Were you playing in other players games? Because if you are in someone else’s world, the names NPCs may be still alive if the host never killed them. They do not respawn. I was able to kill a few twice myself, but that was because I played in my buddies game. But I killed 2 the first day the game came out for sure.…

I found another named character that I farm since I killed Bullet King. It takes me an average of 1 min 22 sec to kill the NPC, die, and respawn at the safehouse. At an average of 2 PC per kill, I am averaging about 88 PC/hr.

Here is a good map of most of the named characters in the PvE area. If by any chance you killed Bullet King for good, you can find other named characters to farm. Purple arrows means enemy is above ground, red arrows means under ground.

The your special dupe glitch? Is that where you use dogmeat to dupe the book? I tested last night after the patch and dogmeat can still dupe items. Any item. Like fatmen that sell for around 300 caps each.

You can still have dogmeat dupe items then sell those items.

Did you do the first statehouse mission given to you by that robot? You need to do that then the robots next mission where you secure a facility. That’s where tinker tom gets the ballistic weave blueprints.

You can still dupe items with dogmeat. Dupe some fatman guns then sell them.
