I got my Steam Deck on a whim when I opened the Steam summer sale a few weeks ago. Already love the thing. Installed my steam backlog on it and installed Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 14.

You can’t move characters to new islands. They are tied to the island. When you transfer in island to a new switch, all characters go with that island to the new switch.

You can transfer your island to her switch. When she loads the island for the first time it will allow her to take it over - she can even take over your character with all the DIYS and money (just select use exiting islander and have her select your character) . Then you can make a new island on your Switch.

In my area on facebook marketplace, the OLED switches are going for about $50 more than retail.

My Xbox One X died on a weekend. I installed an app called Hot Stock that same weekend and set up an alert for the Series X. By Tuesday I had a few deals pop up and was able to pick up a Series X at Amazon.

This does not last. Once you exit the game and restart your save, the map is covered up again.

2 missions left in the last chapter? if it’s the last chapter then you are actually further than you think from the end. There is an entire prologue to get through as well which is quite a few missions.
