Seriously now.. it is not a cooling system, it’s a traction loss assistant system. AKA racing is stopped while we clean up this 50 gallons of fuckery Dodge has brought upon us and laid upon thy track.

Did you see that fat pig at the end?
COTD died when D.B. Pooper lost.
“Local woman drowns in her own driveway in a bizarre bucket accident. Film at 11.”
As in the “if you were her neighbor, and she tried to wash her car at home, her bucket might end up thru your living room window somehow or another” way.
The Gov’t can and should cut its funding, and could have sometime back without hurting Tesla.
If you can calculate the chance of success at 10%, that company will probably find venture capital.
Tax breaks for purchases and they don’t pay road taxes....How are these companies not the enemy. They give taxpayers money to the rich while using the roads for free.
Got it, agreed.
Exactly. And people also forget about the gov’t $$$ Obama handed out to companies that went tits up shortly after. I was an asset manager for a 17bn company at the time of this nonsense was happening. The Bad Debt for “green” startups was eye-watering.
I am in favor of both the incentives given to Tesla and the GM bailout, because both turned out to be incredibly good uses of taxpayer money that utterly disprove the notion that unfettered capitalism is a universal good.
And I am not troubled by Fisker’s failure, because as Silicon Valley demonstrates routinely if…
It does not matter that TM repaid the loan. The loan itself is the issue. It’s not like you or I can open a half billion dollar line of taxpayer backed credit to live out our desires with no personal penalty should we fail. We have to do it on our own dime and if we borrow be stuck with the consequences of failure.

“Their own financial legs” - condescending AND misinformed. Nice.
In all seriousness, educate yourself, please.
Instead of funding electric cars, which seem to be growing in popularity and market %. We should establish a manual, hatchback and/or wagon fund.
People are lining up to give Tesla billions in repeated public offerings. I don’t see what value we get as a society from giving them tax dollars as well.
I feel the same. The bailout and cash for clunkers I was against full heartedly. Of course when I understood the gov wouldn’t let theses companies go under like BOA, CITI, GM I took advantage and bought ample stock shares. BOA at $4. I don’t want to see the gov give money to Fisker because well its Fisker they are on…
Not only do they need the help to build them, they need help to sell them and drive them. Tax breaks for purchases and they don’t pay road taxes....How are these companies not the enemy. They give taxpayers money to the rich while using the roads for free.
