I feel the same. The bailout and cash for clunkers I was against full heartedly. Of course when I understood the gov wouldn’t let theses companies go under like BOA, CITI, GM I took advantage and bought ample stock shares. BOA at $4. I don’t want to see the gov give money to Fisker because well its Fisker they are on

Not only do they need the help to build them, they need help to sell them and drive them. Tax breaks for purchases and they don’t pay road taxes....How are these companies not the enemy. They give taxpayers money to the rich while using the roads for free.

I don’t disagree with your sentiment, but the bailout is universally touted as a success (by people that have basic math understanding).

Somebody teach you about civics and how government actually works.

This needs moar stars.

You’re damn right I’m gonna be pissed off! I bought that pig at Pink Floyd’s yard sale!

Right? What exactly are your values, Mars? Do they include early onset type two diabetes?

Totally! I’m sure the only reason Mars made any statement was some idots tweeted how they disapproved of KB’s actions. #whinylittlebitches

Now playing

At least you know what to play on the 8-track…

Agreed. If they really cared, they would pull sponsorship. That would have way more impact than this reprimand.

One of the nastiest McLarens ever used a V8 from a very different manufacturer...

well yeah... i guess you might be able to squeeze an hour out of three gallons.... IF YOU DRIVE IT LIKE A LITTLE BITCH!!!

Problem with the “free market” piece here is that the price of fuel doesn’t fully reflect the social cost of using it. Which means the incentives are mis-aligned - if the only additional cost for driving a car with half the efficiency is that you’re paying for the additional fuel you use at $2, or even $3 or $4 per

I think people associate the 2 together and you are right.

Most advanced Dodge ever sounds like a backhanded compliment, and something not very hard to accomplish.

I thought that crate was a challenger! Big, square, made of cheap materials and tons of horsepower made me confused.

Not only does the KC area get shafted in the new car market, we get shafted on the overpriced and lack of RWD used car market.

Neutral: Did you buy a car in February? What did you get?

GM Guy here. It’s possible that the dealer isn’t showing the price with GM incentives on his website yet. We reset incentives on the 1st of every month. Some dealers are slower than others to show new incentives on their sites.

I had a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with a manual transmission. It had a little yellow LED in the gauge cluster that lit when you were supposed to shift for optimal fuel economy, according to the manual. It actually was a really good indicator when at partial throttle.
