It’s not just a bad idea to hug your birds, it’s a horrible idea. The world was never safe, but it is getting more and more sensitive to these little things.

it wouldn’t matter if this was her kids. if doing what feels best puts a whole bunch of other people at risk (who also have people they love) then it’s the wrong thing to do, full stop. doing the right thing means being mature and not being selfish about what gives you the greatest emotional gain. it’s not for nothing…

I feel horribly for the OW team itself still, but good lord...was Kaplan really the glue holding it all together? I know it’s likely more complicated than that and it’s extremely rare one person has that much influence on a project worked on by hundreds but like...damn man.

Eh, there is the original launch blues but there is a difference with the dumpster fire OW2 has been. From requiring a phone number with a specific carrier to play it (No pre-paid phones for you!) to lackluster high cost skins (some of the legendaries will take months to grind out), to the battle pass not rewarding…

Or do what I use to do when I wanted Twitch drops from Warframe events.  Just turn on Twitch and go to a channel and let it run all night when I was not playing.   You don’t need to actually watch any of this crap

The presence of a gun in itself make the action more likely to happen. The presence of a gun multiply the chance of a woman being murdered by her spouse by 5. Part of it is mindset sure, a person more likely to kill their spouse is also more likely to have a gun, but part of it is that it doesn’t take the same mindset…

I don’t disagree with anything you said - obviously the Christian fundamentalism is a much larger issue in our society. I just thought it was a fairly amusing parallel. They’re both pretty stupid beliefs and anybody that truly believes in them is at least slightly unhinged from reality.

What’s most disturbing to me is that – millions – of Americans are represented by these beliefs. These are the people who didn’t manage to engage with the basics of rational or critical thinking on a college level, and were left behind to fall back on the “fire and brimstone” they learned as children in Sunday School.

In theory, she is extremely simple as she has zero interactions between her abilities, her ult is easy to understand and her movement option is just point and shoot.
