You are not the overlord: you play the LACKEY of the true overlord, Tom Nook. You run around doing his bidding, and “resident rep” or whatever he calls you is a distinct downgrade from mayor. He’s basically like the CEO of Domino’s, setting up his own cultish HOA.

I went to my sister’s town and caught a blue marlin off her pier. I think I’m permanently uninvited now. (And I could tell I was fighting a huge fish from the way the controller was rumbling.)

I didn’t much care what fruit I got, as long as it wasn’t cherries. I got the green airport, which is clearly the best (and apples). 

I work at a similar Big Box retail chain and we’re staying open as well. We’ll be reducing our hours and limiting the amount of customers who can enter the store at once, but we’ll be open. I was given the choice to either take 2 weeks paid leave or work. But people who take the first 2 weeks will not be guaranteed…

My body is ready. I got my data transferred to my new Animal Crossing Switch, I have the game pre-installed, and I took Friday off from work. (That turned out to be a better decision than ever, given current events.)

Or, you know, if glasses are an integral part of the character’s design, maybe show the character from a different angle? 

I’m so excited! As soon as my PTO reset in January, I asked for March 20 off. I know I’m not the only person here who will be ducking work that day.

Penny Arcade makes the graphical enhancements to Geralt’s dong sound like a bad thing. Straight dudes aren’t the only people who play video games. I had to put up with adolescent fan service catering to straight guys for years, and as a woman I now claim this as my due. :P

Well...in reality this bug meant that Ana could potentially have a harder time escaping from diving enemies. If she managed to sleep one but was cornered by them, she would be stuck there until they woke and killed her anyway because she couldn’t run past them.

I used to be a huge fan of CLAMP’s older shoujo manga, but I haven’t been huge on their more recent stuff. I guess I remain cautiously optimistic.

So by all rights they should rename the game “Wait There Were Actually Four Houses ¯\_(ツ)_/¯".

Yes, good. I love the pixel art from the older games. The lazy 3D graphics (and the weekly classroom training sessions that kind of needlessly slow down and pad out the game) hold it back.

Yay. I mean, seriously. I played Torchlight 2 and was sad to think we wouldn't get a sequel.
