I’m working on my first play-through of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I got it for Christmas, and since I’ve got a full time job and limited free time, it’s taking me a while. I’m apparently in the end-game of the Blue Lions story, so for my next game I’ll choose the Golden Deer.

Weird as it may seem, I can guarantee there are people who think at least some of those characters are hot.

I see it as a form of decoration, body jewelry that can’t get lost or broken. I have two tattoos now, both video game tattoos, as a kind of signifier that I enjoy them that much. :3 Also, I suffer from anxiety and depression, and getting a tattoo was--to me--a minor act of bravery.

Re: Corpse Run: doing something for yourself =/= rebellion. I was 35 when I got my first tattoo, because sometimes it takes someone a while to learn to be braver.

I finally got a copy of Fire Emblem: Three Houses for Christmas. I am indeed playing like a little sociopath, telling my students what they want to hear, just as you guys forewarned. :P

Am I the only one stoked for the new Dark Alliance game? That series (and Champions of Norrath, which was practically the same game) was a lot of fun.

As someone with an art degree, can I declare that fine art should be cancelled? Because clearly art is a mistake.

I’ve been planning to take March 20 off to play Animal Crossing since they announced the release date.

You’ve triggered my Hellfire Penninsula PTSD. Some nights I can hear that metallic howling in my dreams...

Sometimes, just sometimes, video game fans drastically overthink things. Never change.

Bullshit. That guy was the Quentin Tarrantino of the afterlife: he put his actor at risk of physical harm in order to fulfill his “vision.” I vacuumed him up with glee.

Ye olde Catwoman is super disappointing.

Spice agrees: I should be taking many pictures of her.

Yes! I still play Overwatch, and every year the Halloween event is my favorite by far. I love the way they Halloween-ify certain maps. That alone pretty much makes it worth it for me. (And yes, their Halloween skins are always amazing.)

Good to know, I guess.

Rep grinds to unlock races suck. I resubbed in summer of 2018 and ground out the rep to get the lightforged draenei and (the ones I really wanted) the void elves. I would have gladly paid to unlock them, but I suspect Blizzard makes more money by forcing you to spend time grinding for rep, therefore keeping your

I was just starting to consider re-subbing to my WoW subscription for the umpteenth time when this all happened. I’ve been feeling that itch to play an MMO again. Maybe I’ll try that Final Fantasy MMO instead.

This isn’t too awfully bad for people who primarily game on a desktop PC, but it’s much tougher for those who use a gaming laptop. Some of the low end ones only have single 256gb SSDs. I know you can technically run games off an external hard drive, but I can’t imagine that’s ideal for a large open world game like

Those Overwatch skins are really nice. I'd be more tempted if I played either character.

Oh, wow. Nearly my whole life? I guess one of the cringiest things I can remember happened when I was in 6th grade. I was in the school theater on a low wall, waiting for a show to start. A boy I did not know jumped up next to me and asked what was up. I said, “You. You jumped up next to me.” He turned and exchanged a
