At least the game seems different in how the cards interact during combat, being more Magic-like with assignable blockers (see the crocodile that can’t block). In Hearthstone the defending side is entirely non-interactive but instead has “Taunt” to force attackers to attack that unit.

I think VIII had a great deal of nuance amongst all of the characters (and I do believe Squall was meant to be unlikeable), XII had a strong story (although it was a bit overshadowed by the battle system, to where you could easily get lost battling and forget about the story), X is probably my favorite story wise, and

WotL has not been released on Steam, unfortunately. And I think every port of it so far has had the same slowdown issues.

Amarant was definitely the odd man out and the weakest member of the cast. I happened to like Quina’s weirdness, and Steiner was just the best comic relief character ever to me. I thought Garnet’s arc was pretty good too, and Beatrix’s. It’s true that Freya’s resolved itself early on though.

I can’t really concede your examples since I haven’t played those games in forever, but I’ve been aware of what makes good plot structure for a long time, having always been into literature and majoring in English and film studies, and I know I’ve never been satisfied by a Final Fantasy game in terms of narrative

They have feet in Awakening’s CG scenes and artwork. :P

Alternate solution for PsVita: if you know somebody who wants to play the games, but doesnt care about mobility, a VitaTv is a VERY worthy replacement for a fraction of the price...granted, you miss out on Uncharted and Gravity Rush, but, some may just wanna dance in Persona 4 DAN, so who cares

Chips are serious business.

This is definitely a reference to the old April Fools joke of the 2 headed ogre race in WoW. They 2 players would share a character, and it sounded so cool before I found out it was April First. I’m excited to try this out, could be disastrous.

okay good, so i wasn’t the only one.

Terrible voice acting?! You’re hurting those weeabos who say Japanese dialogue is ALWAYS superior.

I got to say with some of the redubs for Kai you can really tell the differences between the acting performances. Both of the actors (Sabat especially) has nailed the voices, they’re old pro’s by this point and anything that was a little off early on has been corrected. Honestly I stopped watching Dragon Ball Super as

It probably won’t be too bad to unlock 6 characters in one year. The impatient people will opt for microtransactions. Capcom will make the bulk of their money on “premium” costumes that can only be purchased with real money.
