3- that might not be true. In the credit scene right after the igor scene, we see a shadowy figure that could be the phantom drop down into the scramble crossing and causes an explosion. Out of the explosion appears a winged humanoid which could be a persona or the phantom turned into a persona.

The idea of them becoming their Persona is cool, but the yellow eyes and general.. evil-ness of it gives me a shadow self vibe.

If its the persona being overtaken it is probably a system to other games in the shin megumi series where they didn't summon the demons/persona. But became the demons themselves, eg digital devil saga.

We see the blue flames envelop the guy, but the fact that he has yellow eyes makes me think this is more like the shadow versions of characters turning into their boss forms in P4. Didn't that shattering sound play before a boss fight as well? I don't remember.

There's also a neat animation at the beginning of what seems to be the protagonist "transforming" into what is presumably his Persona (Joker?) in the middle of Shibuya Crossing. Could be just a stylized Persona summoning, or a Persona actually takes over a person.

Is it weird that I'm most excited by the light platforming? It's probably weird. I just want more games with some form of platforming and puzzles incorporated into the game. Though I'd hope it goes a bit further than what we saw. But yeah, tried playing 3 and was bored by the dungeons in that, so hopefully this…

I am totally astounded because that really is a pretty great idea for a power. I had been assuming he'd just get some sort of ridiculous extra power to make him even more ridiculous or rad (energy forearm-blades or something), but this really works.
