There is wave dashing

Straight people who make these kind of remarks (“Who cares if he’s gay? I don’t announce my straightness!”) and white people who do the same (“Who cares what color a character is? I don’t see color!”) simply can’t conceive of how important visibility and representation actually are to minorities because they’re always

When straight characters express love/sexuality, it’s normal! When gay characters express love/sexuality, it’s pandering!

Was playing Melee and Project M lately, then went back to Sm4sh and it felt too slow. o_o The game could use a few core changes, buffing the speed, and making dodging and whiffed attacks more punishable.

Yeah, I agree, but the things people like about Melee aren’t in Sm4sh. The community’s looked it over and in its current state gets a meh from most of them. Sm4sh is definitely a fun game, and a blast with friends, but at a competitive level tends to be a bit too simplistic and slow to get a lot of attention.

You could have 100 arguments for Smash 4, and it still wouldn’t matter - this isn’t determined by what the games offer on paper. The community ultimately decides what they want to see. If Smash 64 tournaments had the biggest sign-ups and drew the biggest audience, then it’d be Smash 64 that was still the dominant game

I like melee for the speed, WiiU’s version seems slower to me. I find myself attacking before the game can register my button mashing. I didn’t have that problem in melee.

Have you seen Apex registration numbers for Smash Melee and WiiU? A 1000 man tourney is serious business. The Smash community supported their games and got the recognition for it. You have to ask the BB and DOA communities to get their act together because competition for Evo places is rough.

They need to ditch KI and replace it with one of KOF, DOA, BlazBlue, or Skullgirls.

this... goosebumps. Wait guys! I'm just gonna watch that doc again.

the movement and battle mechanics resemble azure dreams? awesome!

Competitive Smash Bros. is fucking awesome! I have no idea why people bitch about the very existence of the competitive side of this game! I don't see anyone give this sort of treatment for any other game at all. Just because it's from Nintendo, or just because there are diehard casuals (as much of an oxymoron as that
