Someone needs to go to jail for the way that video is edited.

Without actually looking I’ll guarantee that BYU has a few.

We received an email from a parent who says their child attends the early childhood center where Ms. Goodson was a teacher. The school community has created a GoFundMe to set up an education fund for Rhylee, Ms. Goodson’s daughter:

Terrible. Carrying strollers in the subway is the worst. I remember hauling my stroller and child up 2 flights of stairs, only to find out that the exit nearby was closed, then had to haul it down the stairs, go up another set to get out. Some nonsense like this would happen every damn time. Totally unsafe in an

The common argument against gun control is that if you outlaw guns, only criminals will have guns. This is disproved regularly in Canada, a country that has pretty moderate rules regarding hunting weapons, but strict ones concerning handguns and automatic assault weapons.  If you outlaw guns, they become very

I agree with this all, but most subway and light rail speeds are lower than 49 mph. But, a tunnel full of Teslas will surely go closer to the speed at what most rail systems travel.

This headline needs to be more controversial. How about “NYC Pays $1.7B to Gentrify Queens; Denies Underground Railroad

A little background:

Prior to my time at OU my now brother-in-law pledged one of the frats there. During his first semester, in a cold-front that had below-freezing temps and snow on the ground, he and another pledge were put in the back of a pickup, blindfolded and wearing only jeans and tshirts, after being coerced to drink a

Au contraire, mon cher. Idiocy is not intimidated by your mere racial boundaries.

Scott Van Pelt rants about this every December, but the Coaching Carousel in College Football is basically you just praying to strike gold. Every year, we see a new Blue Chip candidate go to a Power 5 school with all of the optimism in the world and they just fall apart before getting shipped out because the Boosters

I’m not really seeing any fails here. I just read a writeup on an incident where ATC played the “a bunch of other plans flew through it just fine” card, and a lot of people died when a microburst whipped up.

Pilot saw something that made him uneasy, and didn’t fly through it. ATC kept him from hitting anybody.

Eh, I disagree. He had already given the front-row kid a ball, and so he gave this ball to another kid who (presumably) hadn’t gotten one. That seems to me like the good and just thing to do.

Yeah..have you ever stepped into a smoker’s car and just revolt at the smells that they’ve become desensitized to?   It’s the same thing with doggos.

I do not understand how people tolerate dog friendly workplaces. If I wanted a dog, I’d get one of my own! I don’t need some jerk bringing his ~*~heckin cute doggo~*~ (we’re adults--can we talk like adults?) to my job, making everything smell like dog and so on.

It is an extreme take, and not completely serious. I’m sick of being told I have to deal with other people’s animals brought into spaces for humans because it’s convenient and fun for them. Because most people are dog people or at least won’t say anything it’s tyranny of the majority.

I’m a Prince fan fromantic 78 on and he is the GOAT but I think for just the guitar even he would give all reverence to Jimi and Santana. But as a complete musician and entertainer, there will never be another to compare before or since.
