Yeah, what is this article even?

I'm from Donegal, and grew up calling it "football", and calling gaelic football "gaelic". But I would have used soccer a lot when talking about both sports at the same time, e.g. "Do you prefer soccer or gaelic?", as to avoid confusion.
I went to university in Limerick, and found that "football" almost always referred

I actually noticed a bigger percentage of black twitter users in the earleir 2009/2010/2011 days. Certain groups seemed to take to Twitter really quickly - Black Americans, Brazilians, teenage pop fans.

This sounds like you over blew the situation in your head. You were late and rude, and he muttered something under his breath, and then you went off because you're insecure. He wasn't mad that you're fat. He was mad that you pushed past him without being polite.
As for having a hangover, it's not like it's a medical

So, you cannot play someone in a movie if you're from a different class?

Peyton Manning is not close to their level of douchedom. But he does have a good PR team. Word is he was Tiger Woods-ing it more than even Tiger Woods.

When Ohio State scheduled Cal, Cal was coming off a 1-10 season (game was scheduled in summer of 2002). Vanderbilt pulled out, so they replaced them with San Diego State (although I'm not sure Vanderbilt was ever "relevant"). And as for the Florida A&M game..... I'm not sure Florida A&M even knows why that happened.

I didn't realize this wasn't a universal term. It rhymes with "cow", by the way, not "slow".

Reminds me of the scene from The Simpsons, where Mr. Burns speaks to the Springfield Atoms football team before the game:
Mr. Burns: "Men, there’s a little crippled boy sitting in a hospital who wants you to win this game. I know because I crippled him myself to inspire you."
Cutaway to hospital.....
Milhouse: "I hope

Isn't America the only country where tanking is acceptable? Doesn't everywhere else have promotion/relegation, and, you know, actual consequences to losing?

When Ohio State scheduled Cal, before the 2002 season, they were coming off a 1-10 season, and had finished bottom of the PAC-10 two seasons in a row.
Stanford had just finished a 9-3 season when the Cal game was scheduled.
So, they weren't exactly looking that hard for a tough match-up.

Also, the San Diego State game

Can't believe when Ohio State scheduled a murderer's row of national powerhouses in Buffalo, San Diego State and Florida A&M, they went and got so mediocre so quickly. Just shows - you can never predict the future.

Jesus Christ, the reactions on this site are so predictable. Yeah, on average, they said 26 is the age where women should have kids. If there was a poll that ran along side it that asked "On a scale of 1-10, how concerned would you be if women waited longer than that", it would probably average somewhere between "I

This falls into the category of "Cool story, bro", but whatever.

I went to College GameDay in 2009 for the TCU v Utah game in Fort Worth. I got there just before 4:30am - four an a half hours before it started. Wasn't early enough to get near the front of the main stage, but I got to the front row of the side stage

The public transport is a reason to leave? Because the public transport is much better out by Marietta? Ooookay.

Also, how did Atlanta host the Olympics in that stadium, and not have a MARTA stop near the stadium?!

They get all mean girls in American sports too. I mean, they accused Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire of being so good that it must be because of steroids, even though THEY SAID THEY NEVER TOOK THEM! Some people just want to drag successful people down.

You? Because you responded to the initial post?

Technically, what the two kids are playing is soccer. Just being played on a gaelic football field at halftime of a gaelic football match.
