I actually agree with Bob Costas and Jason Whitlock here. Gun control is far too lax in this country. The gun murder rate is stupidly high. The only countries worse, or in the same vicinity as the US, are 3rd world shitbox countries.

Uniform is never acceptable to say when referring to soccer. Firemen wear uniforms, nurses wear uniforms. Soccer teams wear kits (or strips). Jersey is acceptable.

I can't wear shorts to work when it's 100 degrees outside because I'm a man. That's just the way it is. I would absolutely love to wear dress shorts and short sleeves in the middle of summer, but I have to suck it up because that's the way the dress code is.

I was a kicker and was iced in overtime in a championship game. Without a doubt, it actually helped. Got me settled down. Joked with my teammates about the icing. Then kicked the game winning FG without any problem. If I hadn't been iced, I'm not sure I would've scored as it would have been rushed.
