This. The idea that everyone has to submit to some arbitrary social standard is a clear legacy from certain high school or college traditions that are just as toxic in nature and ultimately just exclude those that aren’t already inclined to do these things.

Counter proposal.

I mean, given recent trends. Isn’t anyone who buys a game from EA basicly part of QA or at the very least beta testing? =P

He’s definitely lying about some things...

This. HR exists to manage those human resources in the most favorable way for the company bottom line. While legal backs them up and makes sure that there are loopholes and backdoors.

Suffice it to say, a lot of those kinds of departments exist solely to serve the company’s best interests.

HR isn’t just another planet. It’s an entirely different universe.

And yet I can’t help taking these ‘public statements’ with a severe helping of salt (as a grain of salt simply isn’t enough).

And this is why not just everyone can be a good Mythbusters host.

Yes, teach kids to be afraid of those dangerous dogs. What could POSSIBLY go wrong.

So uhm, what was that again about them knowing what the players wanted and vanilla wow not being it?

When all is said and done - anything that requires you to purchase additional things outside of the core game to obtain it? That’s not part of the core game.

Why am I not surprised to see both Ubisoft and DRM mentioned together in a negative context? It’s not like this has EVER happened before... >_>

Any game where you regularly need to open the map inherently benefits from a minimap...

So basicly - dumb the game down so you can implement a simple UI and not distract the distractible player? #KidGloves

What the hell is wrong with minimaps? Or any contextual information in games for that matter?

When done well and sold for a decent price? They can be awesome.

The point is that these clicker and incremental games are 100% psychological bullshit. Emphasized by how easily they are circumvented. You can save yourself a lot of time by realizing what they are.

Potential sales aren’t actual sales.

I utterly adore people such as yourself. You’re sitting there on your moral high-horse. Shouting at people you believe are ethically or legally in the wrong.
