90's RPGs and 90s fighting games are a very different kettle of fish though, there aren't many people who would say fighting games have got worse in the past few decades, but there are many that would suggest 90s RPGs have never been bettered.
I played and finished ME1, but then lost my save before ME2 came out, so I delayed buying it until I could get a new save going.
