Have you driven a C7? Have you driven a C7 Z06?
Sounds like a GM smallblock with an automatic...
That movie was so bad, I forgot that I wasted part of a trans-Atlantic flight watching it. I still can’t remember any of the plot except they shoehorned Blofeld into it, who tried to drill into Bond’s brain for some nebulous reason. I vaguely recall he was the obscured kid in Bond’s only family photo, and he’s emo…
First... I expected this to be a Torch article.
“In proper reimagined-by-Singer style...”
The Uber/Lyft model is to take over the market by selling rides at a loss until their competition goes out of business. Once they are the only game in town, they’ll raise their prices to make themselves profitable.
Maybe I’m naive, but I believe in the profitability of Rivian over Tesla based on CEO social media presence alone.
I happen to know a few Porsche dealer contacts who had deposits on this car before it was even revealed. Many of those buyers were Telsa owners.
An attitude like this at Ferrari started Lamborghini making cars
Yeah... Global warming is definitely happening -average temps being up is just a fact. Bigger storms because of a warmer ocean is another fact. New York being underwater in 3 years, maybe not so much.
Most recyclers won’t take plastic bags. If there are plastic bags in with recycling, it often means the whole load goes in the landfill. Recyclers that do take them, ship them off to other countries to be processed, where they’re often tossed in a landfill.
Try no bags. Seriously, its no big deal. I shop at Sams Club/Costco all the time, and they dont offer bags.
I am old enough to remember that plastic bags were going to save the environment.
It’s almost like someone already figured out all the business logistics for this kind of business, how to pay employees and how to structure fares in order to make a profit. But shit, they weren’t tech bros, they were just a bunch of blue collar nobodies so that doesn’t count.
Wanna bet Uber could have made a fortune…
This was obviously the intent of both companies. These were never supposed to be full time jobs, but they ended up that way because they were incredibly easy to get with incredibly little over site.
And this people is why we cant have nice things. When it started Uber was a side gig for people that already have jobs to make a few bucks on the side. Then a bunch of people decided to do it full time and bitch about how the system doesn’t work as they assume it should. Uber/Lyft didnt do anything to discourage this…
Yeah, a loud mouth and 36 billion in invested capital and billions more in subsidies. Ever wonder what Bob Lutz woulda built if he had access to $36 billion in cash?
I’m going to be honest...i don’t see a single benefit over a standard bed on any of these. maybe the full flat bed for putting wider slide-in campers but there are already modular solutions for that.
