How has no one mentioned that the guy that shot this video seems to be a useless prick that did nothing but cheer the driver on? He made no attempt to capture the plate number even though he was clearly fast enough to do so. He seems to be celebrating after the getaway.

I believe that he is just referring to their lower models. Think: Malibu, cobalt, Equinox. The top shelf stuff or stuff that had too shelf versions. Full size trucks/SUVs and of course the C5/C6 Vettes have great reliability. Interior “quality” is debatable, but they are solid machines.
