I agree completely. I saw it in the theater and when the car chase started, I litter said “Oh, I guess they decided that this movie needed a car chase”. The movie was a great concept but was let down in the directing, editing and writing departments.

It wasn’t a good movie, but it Johansen’s performance wasn’t the problem.

I was really excited thinking that all of that would fold away. Then I saw the pics in the comments and realized that this is just an over complicated (read: over weight) targa top. I would rather have seen them use this design to built a proper fixed roof coup.

Not sure if trolling or if you genuinely don't understand that exchange rates have little to do with market prices. Cars in Europe are more expensive than the US and they are advertised including taxes.

It's all about fuel economy. Big V8s with good low end torque really benefit from being able to cruise at high speed and low RPM.
