ugh. i tried using itunes in windows so many times, but its just too sluggish for me. ive used it on a mac and it screams.

ive been using VLC for my audio til i can pick something that works for me, i would prefer gapless playback. VLC rocks for video though.

Nope, Microsoft does too, but they added IMAP to 1) allow people to use apps with their Outlook.com mail, 2) make it easier for people to sync their Gmail accounts, and 3) simply make people stop asking when they'd start supporting IMAP. ;)
