Looks like someone crapped in your raw milk today.
On the point about more profit than physiology, check out this fairly typical chiropractic curriculum, particularly in the later trimesters. Lots of vo-tech office management bullshit here. The idea that these quacks go about as "doctors" is appalling. [www.nycc.edu]
I have the same problem; the same effect is achieved by a physical therapist, who was properly trained in a proper health care specialty. The claim cannot be made of chiropractors.
I think you'd like this passage, courtesy of H.L. Mencken:
Thank you. Chiropractic is utter bullshit, has no basis in science whatever. And my PT spends a good bit of her time treating people who were injured by chiros, or whose conditions simply got worse. No, thanks.
HL Mencken warned us of this nonsense about 80 years ago. His conclusion is that chiropractic helps hasten natural selection, in a sense. Plus, this is hilarious: [www.chirobase.org]
Oh yes, it's true. And what's worse—these drinks have dihydrogen oxide in them! A town in California nearly banned dihydrogen oxide. It's important to know these things, for the children.
Uhhh....no. Also, fruit punch slurpies and cheap rum? Niiiice.
Oh, my, that is simply epic. Still LOLing.
Sorry. You got me there, and, in that case you are so full of win. Because so many dads really do get all over the coaches for things like this, so I took it seriously. My bad, sincerely.
Can't get that thing to break loose. Damned front wheel drive (and my parking brake barely works. Grrr)
And there ya go....
Exactly. The batter is automatically out on the infield fly, and runners advance at their peril. Also, at that age, the infield is not so big, and I've never seen the IFF rule invoked at that age anyway.
Or the coaches. Beff, above, blames them.
You ever see kids just starting to play baseball? My son's team, they run on contact, no matter what. They're kids. This is how kids play. Believe me, the coaches try to teach the kids, but kids are kids, and they run on contact. And, on that play, some major leaguers have been put out. Although, it may have been that…
This is seriously bitchin' — we can say that, right?
Alas, my daily driver is not a Shelby Focus. I'll do what I can....
Oh, yes. Those great exploitation films. If I had to do it over again, I'd be a sociologist, and study moral panics. And cults. Like Liberty U.
It's a congenital condition, I am afraid.
