In China and Japan, soybeans have always been a ‘cheap protein filler’. That is why the soybean is commonly called the ‘poor man’s meat’. It is eaten as tofu, which is pretty minimally processed, being essentially coagulated soymilk. The dominance of soy in the common people’s diet has a history that certainly spans…

Tofu is not fermented, if by that you mean ‘incubated with a culture of microbes’. Tofu is soymilk that has been coagulated by the addition of salts such as calcium sulphate, magnesium sulfate, or calcium chloride.
There’s a continent full of people who have been eating a lot of soy products for generations. Has anyone looked at their health to see if there are signs of ill effects?

His video about walking in torchlight matches my own experience, certainly. I especially like his video about carrying your sword on…
I’ve seen some of the manga for “Girls’ Last Tour” (aka Shojou Apocalypse Adventure). It is a funny story, but also kind of sad. The girls seem to have some military training, but maybe only because that’s all they have ever known. Their world consists of the ruins after a war, with very few people left. There is no…
For some reason, I don’t think “Batmobile” when I see that. I think “Mystery Machine”
That was one smart mouse, to be able to negotiate with Romulans!
