I think Ambrose is actually Australian.

I'm surprised he could throw anything other than a left hook.

Ugly crash is suuuuuch an understatement.

I missed the part where they were forced against their wills to become cheerleaders for this team in the first place....

Most of all, Darren Rovell apologizes for damaging the brand.

Especially when these same pitchers scream and fist-pump after big strikeouts to end the inning. How come they get to celebrate big plays, but if a guy hits a HR he has to simply jog around the bases like nothing happened.

Why do baseball players (especially pitchers) take such offense to the most minor things? In other sports, you usually don't see guys get super upset over the littlest things. Like in basketball if you shoot a three pointer and make it, you can do a little celebration and the guy guarding you won't get butt hurt and

Maybe it's been done but if it hasn't Ujiri deserves a Deadspin story on his journey from Africa to GM of the Raptors.

Because it's a subtle way to influence pre-judgement of the story if you show him in "thug wear" rather than a well uniformed shot. Look at say, the shots Fox News uses of the President as opposed to MSNBC, it's the visual association of the image with the narrative you want to tell.

"Actually, we just have to get to the weather..."

This marks the second egregious case of mistaken identity Arsenal have suffered this season, the first being being confused for title challengers.

Hey bro, I think you need to relax a little bit. Did you lose someone on Oceanic Flight 815? Is that why you're so touchy?

Come on man! Some of us want to watch this tonight! I mean, it's not even on in the East Coast yet...BOOO

Why the hell would you spoiler this? No spoiler alert warning? Jeopardy isn't on until 7 here, assholes. Now this cannot be unseen. You guys are almost as crappy as this new Kinja format.

It's not all bad on the other side of the Jeopardy fame bubble. Ken Jennings managed to parlay his winning streak into a book deal and a cushy gig on the speaking circuit, while IBM's WATSON is now the head writer at Buzzfeed.

Now playing

plenty of high speed collisions in rugby but possession is much more fluid and important in a game where everyone has to be able to do everything and play lasts longer than 30 seconds. I can't remember the amount of times i've laughed in the face of the guy that tried to hurt me with an illegal american football style

This is not unusual. Given the severe injuries that players can often suffer from the game, speed of treatment is a priority. Play can sometimes last for several minute, if a player has been KO'ed they need treatment right away.

As Vince McMahon would say after an injury or someone dying after falling from the rafters: "the show must go on!"

Happens pretty much every game.
