Reminder that 99.9% of the wasabi sold in America, is in fact not wasabi but horse radish. It seems rather silly to me for Americans to say wasabi caused her condition when it was almost certainly green colored horse radish.

Arctic is burning. Amazon is being cut down at an incredible rate. Hurricanes are dropping more water as the climate changes. Unplanned Medical services can financial cripple a large chunk of Americans. Wages haven’t gone up in years. And I got an headache.

I’ve been reading your ST DISCO reviews, but this week seems to be really too much for you. Everybody be like THIS SHOW HAS NO SURPRISES. Then the plot thickens and we get THIS SHOW SHOW SUPRISED ME WITH SOMETHING NEW. I’M SO MAD!

Well, at least Lorca’s Mirror-Universe origin explains that Gorn skeleton we saw in his secret lair back in the first eps. The Gorn were revealed as being known to the Mirror universe Empire during the Archer-era Enterprise time period.

As a hardcore fan raised in Trek I love it.

This episode and the plot twist actually made me fall in love with Star Trek discovery - enough so that I decided to pay for it and re-watch all of the episodes for clues.

People have a beef with STD because it isn’t the old Star Trek. It isn’t. It’s still good. ‘The Orville’, it’s also very good and more like the

Bye Felicia.

Yes. The other clue was Tyler reverting to English. The confusion comes from the fact that the character motivation for deleting Voq doesn’t follow from what we know of L’Rell.

Seriously. Chill the hell out.

Here’s the truth of it: If they hadn’t been lying repeatedly about a lot of the twists, it wouldn’t have changed anything. Knowing Tyler was Voq didn’t change how well-done it honestly was, it simply changed how I viewed him. Knowing Lorca was almost certainly Mirror Lorca didn’t ruin that surprise, it left me

This was easily the best episode so far, and I’ve been enjoying the show. I really loved the way they balanced all the different plots in this one. Exciting stuff. This show owes more to Star Trek movies than any t.v. show, so it’s sci fi action-adventure. Once you go with that, it’s a fun ride.

I interpreted the brain-surgery scene differently. I thought she eradicated all trace of Voq’s memories, hence the Klingon death-howl for her lost comrade..

I never saw the Lorca twist coming and I totally bought into it — for all the reasons you pointed out. Lorca actually makes much more sense with this reveal.

This show just can’t win huh. There’s a ton of spite in these reviews in general, but just to argue one point: The reveal that mirrorverse folks can’t handle light is not an “ass pull.” EVERY mirror ship we’ve seen across every series has had low lighting. This was a classic Star Trek clever/obnoxious in-universe

I think you may have misinterpreted what happened to Tyler/Voq. L’Rell final act in the scene was what Klingons do when a respected warrior dies. So, I think it’s likely she removed Voq and we’re left with Tyler.

I thought you ragequit the show at the mid-season break. I’m not sure why you didn’t, since it’s clear you still hate it.

He’s (and you Sir) is/are doing us a service. Next time someone suggests cutting Educational Funds or reducing Library hours, we roll the clip.

Another facet of that argument is that wood ships wouldn’t be able to hold that many slaves so that’s why we ain’t African, we are the original Native Americans and were made slaves with a pen and not a pistol.

Also, don’t buy bicycles, roller skates, sleds, ATV’s, motorcycles, automobiles, airplanes, go carts, boats, jet skis.

yes this "he was her boyfriend, no he wasn't" seems like the perfect basis for his defense team to try and paint this as a "heat of passion" attack which *could* mitigate the sentence, unfortunately. Also can't wait to see what the defense does with her porn career...not that it is relevant in the slightest but much
