And don’t forget their code names were Batman actors:

Astonishment, sadness, anger, and laughter - all in quick succession? Sounds to me like Ms. Gyllenhaal is experiencing the rapid mood swings commonly associated with dementia

Money is the ultimate superpower!

er, cast Queen Latifah ?

Also, lets not forget that time they tried to replace Bruce Wayne with Danny Ocean:

Sorry but I can’t really wrap my head around basically EVERY scientist in the movie failing spectacularly at their job. The guy who invented the geo-mapping robots gets lost? Okay, maybe he does, but uhm...don’t they have said geo-map on the ship? Idris Elba looks RIGHT AT IT...just tell the dude where to go! And I

Nothing beats “the cold” chasing down characters in a corridor — which is conveniently stopped by a door — and the book burning scene.

Unpopular opinion time, woo!

Mine is a a pet peeve... not just one movie, but a whole pseudoscience subgenre:

I don’t know if the typo was intended, but it if was, that’s genus indeed.

For all the noise made about that movie’s scientific accuracy, they sure didn’t hesitate to throw out anything and everything they learned about science.

Setting aside Bones finding a cure for death, we’ve also got the gratuitous T&A shot of Carol Marcus, Khan using a secret identity when it didn’t matter, and Spock being told how to save the day by future Spock only after also being filled in on why Khan is the greatest villain the Enterprise had ever known.

I mean... where to start. Somehow millions of years of evolution have taken place in a very short period of time. “Every one of these creatures have evolved to kill humans.” even though humans had completely left the planet... this thing is just a mess.

So, so much stupid in one place. Bad science, bad story, bad everything. I think Michael Ironside was the only quality thing about that flick.

Alright fuck it, I’m just gonna say it. Avatar.

The scientists in this movie were genus!

UGGGHHHHHHHHH

Additional shoutouts to Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the Amazing Spider Man movies, because what is lab safety/security even?
