Good to know. I was thinking about putting an 80GB SSD in the normal hard drive spot, and using the Seagate Momentus XT with a OWC Data Doubler in the DVD Drive spot. Then use this method to have the home directory on the Momentus drive. [lnx2mac.blogspot.com]

As a computer tech, perhaps you can help satisfy a piece of curiosity that I have. Back when Windows 7 FIRST started coming out on OEM machines, I imaged my girlfriends Windows 7 computer with Acronis Universal Restore. I know how it works basically, by removing the "tokens" or whatever that tie the OS to a specific

Respectfully disagree. Word for word:

Honestly I was kind of thinking the same thing. My guess is having to connect two halves of a solar array together over a distance, would add extra man-hours, and, depending on efficiency, could in fact affect the level of power output, since every bit of extra length added to the circuit adds resistance.

Yay eCo friendly! And all it cost them was destroying a 100 acre plot of natural land in order to build it. Not to mention all the NON-eCo friendly raw materials used in building it.

Am I the only one that read the first paragraph as "The more a man's hormones tell them to think about sex, the dumber they sound."

Theologists/Mathematicians came up with the number, based on knowing when Jesus was born, and then calculating ages of various biblical figures that they were able to get a correlation with, and all in all they figured out that according to the bible, creation occurred roughly 6000 years ago.

That it could be. Sanded smooth and staind they would take on a different color than the rest of the floor. Granted if those are pegs, they sure didn't try very hard to even them up.

Actually they are not quite "patterned" evenly, and if you will notice, there are similar markings on the opposite side, the side where the hinges would be, as well. More than likely, those board pieces were carefully chosen by the creator, to give a visual clue as to where to access the door.

Perhaps they were living hand to mouth at the time. Speaking as a lower class citizen, I can tell you that after bills and food and gas money to get to work, I rarely have $25 left over to play with.

Only in Japan and a couple other small countries. Now it's Pibb Xtra. To me it sounds stupid. Still tastes like the same horrible Dr. Pepper wanna-be-thats-not-even-close.

Those are not holes, those are knots in the wood. When stained they get very dark. I have to agree with the cut in the wood. Although, if it were a VERY smooth cut, sanded cleanly, and stained perfectly, AND a nice tight fit, then it would be very difficult to notice.

Manufactured e-cigarettes have built in voltage regulation, as well as over/undervoltage safety features that make the possibility of explosion impossible. If anything that COULD cause an explosion were to habit, it would simply break the internal circuit and stop working.

Actually, a GOOD quality e-cigarette is in fact significantly safer, and there are chest X-Rays out there to prove it.

Precisely. It isn't theft until you leave the store without paying for the item.

The hard drive IS a user replaceable part on a Mac.

Ran Debian Squeeze on my Mid-2009 Macbook Pro for a while. It works great!

Same here actually, and I'm still using a Mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro.

I agree that everyone deserves a second chance, but more often than not, if you walk up to your boss and say, "bla bla bla I got wasted and screwed up...", they usually don't see that as anything deserving of a second chance.
